NEW AT ESPH EAST DULWICH – BARRE CLASSES

Add Barre classes to your exercise routine

Well we asked Personal Trainer Alexandra to discuss with Instructor Charlotte (Charlie) why you should add Barre classes into your exercise routine… here’s their case for the appeal…

What does a body barre / barre yoga class involve?

Barre classes are a mix between Pilates yoga and barre method, using all major muscle groups and working them out until they are fatigued and ending with a stretch which creates long lean muscles.

What are the benefits of doing barre?

Charlie has experienced a lot more strength and endurance since specialising in Barre techniques which helps in all other fitness classes. You will notice your whole body becomes toned including creating high muscle definition.

Who are barre classes suitable for?

The great thing about barre is it’s suitable for any level of fitness because no matter how strong you are or a complete beginner everyone gets the exact same benefits from their workout.

How many barre classes does it take to see results?

You will see results very quickly with barre with consistency as the workout targets all major muscle groups and can help to reduce Bodyfat.

What will be the visual effect?

High muscle definition in upper arms and upper legs, strong and flat abdominals, lifted Glutes and it also improves body alignment and provides an increase in energy and sense of wellbeing.

What is the difference between Barre Body and the Yoga Barre fusion class?

Yoga and barre workouts complement each other as the barre improves your strength and endurance and the yoga lengthens the muscles. The class is creative and flowing which keeps participants fresh and challenged each time.
